Throughout his career, Mr. Karutz has advised CEOs and other executives from Fortune 100 companies, middle market companies, and start-up ventures on financial, strategic, and operational matters. At The Boston Consulting Group, Mr. Karutz advised companies on developing strategic plans necessary to realize company objectives for acquisitions, divestitures, and organic growth. Mr. Karutz assisted companies through business turnaround and bankruptcy situations while at Price Waterhouse. Mr. Karutz has experience advising clients in a broad range of industries including energy, technology, financial services, retail, durable goods, real estate and industrial services.

Mr. Flavin joined KFW in 2006 and has advised companies on sell-side and buy-side transactions, private placements and business valuations. Before joining KFW, Mr. Flavin was a Portfolio Manager for Belmont Wealth Management, a Dallas, Texas based asset management company with over $1 billion in assets under management. As a Portfolio Manager, Mr. Flavin was responsible for managing over $500 million in client assets. Prior to his position as Portfolio Manager, Mr. Flavin was a research analyst responsible for discovering compelling investment opportunities in the financial markets. Mr. Flavin adds to the depth and capability of KFW with his knowledge of capital markets, valuation and alternative asset expertise.

Mr. Trevino joined Karutz Flavin Wells Investment Bankers in 2008.  Prior to KFW, Mr. Trevino was a student at the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with a BBA in Finance with honors.  Mr. Trevino had summer internships with Deutsche Bank’s investment banking group and Merrill Lynch’s Sales and Trading Group.  While at Deutsche Bank in New York City, he advised energy, utility, and chemical companies with initial public offerings, private placements, M&A transactions, and business valuations.

Weston Wells brings a wealth of experience helping companies raise capital and execute strategic initiatives. As an investment banker with Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette and Credit Suisse, Mr. Wells advised technology sector companies on initial public offerings, private placements, convertibles financings and M&A transactions. In addition to his investment banking experience, Mr. Wells has operations experience with a Fortune 100 telecommunications company and start up experience with a venture funded company. Mr. Wells’ industry experience includes semiconductors, semiconductor capital equipment, electronic manufacturing services, telecom equipment, telecom services, enterprise software, environmental services, the Internet and Aerospace.
